As the hottest, up-and-coming start-ups expand their presence to East Berlin, the Signa Group is redeveloping the former Zentrum-Kaufhaus.

MICHELGROUP has planned and designed a unique, mixed-use concept in the form of a vertical campus. The 53,300 square meters combine living and working, featuring a modern housing village of temporary living units on the penthouse level. The design concept of a central “canyon” welcomes daylight to illuminate and energize the interior of the building. The quality of the living and working experiences are further elevated by the inclusion of additional amenities such as a rooftop garden and retail for daily needs. The design exudes a refreshing, youthful energy, truly expressing “Open Space Open Mind.”
