Golden Gate Bridge Pavilion

 Back to Projects list
Location
San Francisco, USA
Year
2012

Project Frog has teamed up with Jensen Architects, the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District and the National Park Service’s Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy on an exciting new project in honor of the Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th Anniversary. Serving as a vibrant hub to attract visitors to the area, the striking 3,500 SF building is draped in the famous international orange color. The 75th Anniversary Visitor Pavilion is an exceptional example of the aesthetic quality and superior flexibility of the prefabricated kit of parts. The Cultural Landscape Report developed for the site was reviewed and approved by the States Historic Preservation Officer at the Department of Parks & Recreation Office of Historic Preservation, who with the NPS reviewed the project for conformity.
