Das Bauhaus und Le Corbusier

treppe b is an architecture and art gallery in the Corbusierhaus in Berlin-Charlottenburg. Particular attention is paid to Le Corbusier’s work and to post-war Berlin modernist positions. We would also like to show contemporary works by various artists in the future.

The gallery room was used as a storeroom until 2016. D:4 developed the concept for the conversion into a gallery and supervised the implementation on site. The room got its name from its location in the Corbusierhaus, between the 2nd and 3rd floor in the staircase B.

The building was erected as part of the international building exhibition (INTERBAU 1957). After it was not possible to realise it in the Hansaviertel, the building was erected on the Heilsberger Dreieck between Flatowallee, Heilsberger Allee and the Olympic Stadium train path.
