Born in 1970 in Lübeck, studied from 1993 to 1999 Landscape Architecture at the Technical University of Dresden and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Copenhagen. In 2000 he founded together with Sonja Rossa Banthien office r+b landschaft s architektur. From 2001 to 2013 he was a member of the Architectural Association in Schleswig-Holstein and since 2013 member of the Chamber of Architects of Saxony. In period from 2000 to 2008, he worked as a scientific assistant at the Department of Landscape Architecture Faculty of Architecture at the TU Dresden. Since 2011 founding member and member of the contemporaries e. V. | Initiative for Contemporary architecture.

Born in 1971 in Wettingen / Switzerland. Studied 1992-1998 Landscape Architecture at the TU Dresden. In 2000 she founded together with Jens Rossa office r + b s landscape architecture. From 2001 to 2004 working as a scientific assistant at the Department of Landscape Architecture Faculty of Architecture at the TU Dresden. Since 2001 Sonja Rossa Banthien than Free Landscape architect member of the Chamber of Architects of Saxony. Since 2014 member of the German Werkbund, DWB.
