In the area of a former gravel pit on the site of Knorr-Bremse AG, a large part of the area is contaminated - especially from production residues, war debris and building rubble. This area is to be secured by means of sealing and built over with a recreational, green and play area for the nearby residential areas.

A workshop with children and young people was held to design the approx. 3.7 ha green space on Schittgablerstraße. During the workshop, the focus was on a collection of ideas for desired activities, which were moderated, summarised and structured by the office. The play and sports areas now include a toboggan hill, a playground, a football pitch and a skate track. Visually, the green space is connected by topographically moving lawns, meadows and shrub areas that run through the entire site.
