Cologne Arena won international acclaim as Germany’s first, privately financed multifunctional major event venue. The Arena’s arch, which is visible from a considerable distance and from which the roof is suspended, has become a trademark for the city of Cologne and is located on the right bank of the river Rhine. It’s extensive, outside staircase, the glass façade, the supports and stairway cascades in the foyer and red, gleaming spectator stand projecting over the square make Cologne Arena a characteristic, eye-catching feature on the cityscape. Cologne Arena is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and comfortable amenities and offers space for a wide range of events.
