On a total of 4200 square meters will be on display finds from Trier in the new permanent exhibition of the National Museum of Trier. The chronological tour includes exhibits from the prehistoric period to the Baroque. Some objects, such as sculptures from the late Barbara Spas and medieval stained glass windows of the cathedral so far been issued never before. There are presented not only objects but also presents ways of working and methods of archaeological monuments and research. The work of archaeologists is tested on specific findings and communicated. The museum will imagine it the visitor as an active institution whose profile goes far beyond archiving and exposing. The course is presented through the centuries in varied holistic theme rooms, relate their design in shape and material selection on the respective periods and the visitors about the exhibits also an exciting Museum guarantee.
