Martin Jasper
Martin Jasper is a German-Ecuadorian architect. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts (UDK), the School of Architecture of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso in Chile, and at the Politecnico di Milano. He worked at the architectural firm Metrogramma Associati in Milan and at the Berlin office of Foster + Partners. In 2008, he founded his own office, Jasper Architects, with offices in Berlin, Vienna, and Buenos Aires, and representative offices in Asunción, Panama City, and Santo Domingo. The cross-cultural and flexible way of working greatly contributes to the character of the office. The portfolio includes different projects ranging from interiors and commercial construction to urban planning, which always follow a common methodology: they respond to the environment, history and context and derive the concepts from these framework conditions. The result is architecture with a strong identity that relates to the local and keeps an eye on the global.
