About TEB
The TEB GmbH, Transferzentrum Energieeffizientes Bauen GmbH (Transfer centre for building energy efficiency), works in areas such as building energy concepts, building services and building physics. The office team stems from a background of physics, energy technology and building engineering. TEB works flexibly within a network of other specialist offices to suit all commission and can also use its close contacts to institutes of higher education and research. A wide building experience covers residential, public and industrial building areas.
Services generally range from consultation and planning to energetic evaluation and optimization of the architectural design. The building and service design features are analysed under aspects of building physics and building energy. Especially the climatic conditions in critical spaces like offices, meeting rooms, atriums etc. is a main issue under the consideration of investment and running cost.
A detailed assessment is possible using a range of building physics tools and in particular modern simulation programs. With the help of dynamic building simulation the climatic effect of heat, air currents, daylight and room acoustics can be defined early in the design process. Particular thermal, acoustic and energetic calculations for planning permission are also possible.
