Description
This landscape design was planned for a mixed-use development in 4 segments with 9 towers for an estimated 12,000 people. Diverse plaza and leisure areas and necessary infrastructure are combined to create a stunning park for both residents and shoppers. The representative retail entrance and the contrasting dense green residential area distinguish the different addresses. The vast open retail area plays with the diagonal generated between the buildings and the site boundaries with dynamic dashes and lighting strips in pavement. The scale of the built environment is brought to a human scale in the residential areas through islands of thick, tall plants, which offer a sense of intimacy and enclosure. The rounded shapes of the green islands emphasize natural flow of movement and low walls enclosing these and the playgrounds afford comfortable seating. A tree-like lighting concept adds a subtle highlight to the green environment at night.
