`Flower of the East´
Kish / Iran, 2006
DescriptionThe Flower of the East Boulevard forms the main axis between the Flower of the East Hotel and the City portal. It is characterized by its clear orientation and movement towards the Flower of the East Hotel, a landmark that overlooks the scene and its lush elevated park in the middle of the axis.
The combination of spatial grandeur with formal, representative design creates a classic but lush appearance of Flower of the East Boulevard, the entrèe to the Flower of the East Hotel. Elevating the pleasure grounds above street level shields it from the single lane vehicular circulation.
Three individually designed segments within the park make up the rhythmical arrangement of the Boulevard, which offers generous parking zones and endow a strong, green and exclusive identity.
The high-quality character of the space is emphasized by the use of selected natural stones, a harmonious choice of plants, the application of water in form of fountains and springs along the axis and by the ambitious detailing of the space into small, cosy and intimate rooms.
Leisurely promenading surrounded by colourful vegetation, enjoying high-quality environment and the sense `the genius loci‘ guarantee a memorable stay at the Flower of East Boulervard Parks.
The Corniche of Kish Island, or the ”Pearl of the Persian
Gulf“, as we see it, is clearly orientated towards the sea. The visitor‘s view wanders along the coastline starting at the marina, over the blue mountain outline of Persia and finally ends at the Flower of the East Hotel.
A highly developed open space sets a new standard with its neatly chosen materials, the concept of vistas to the sea and its focus on a high-class setting.
Promenading along the seaside, shopping in exclusive stores or just enjoying a cappuccino in one of the terraces of the cafés, glancing at the sea....the Corniche is the right place to be.
The Harbour City is a diversified place.
A variety of picturesque patios, cosy places, hidden staircases and promenades next to the port basin refer to romantic places along the Mediterranean such as Porto Fino or Sorrento. Public and private realms are distributed equally, and the spaces are particularized and enhanced with architectural details that paint places and squares, gardens and patios, into unique pictures.
This presents the visitor wandering through the streets and lanes with the joy of discovery, and is complimentary to the superb organization of the high standard amenities of open spaces, shops, restaurants, cafés, villas and gardens.
