Project
Natur nach Mass?!
Ahlen / Germany, 2004
Description
The exhibition „Natur nach Mass?!“ was held at the Regionale 2004 in the former Zeche Westfalen I / II Ahlen. Theme of the exhibition was the relationship of man to the water. At over 2000 square meters, the visitor along a trail narrative at different stations on Water and Environment was conducted. In the first room of the attempt of man to tame nature by means of a 300 square-meter analog pixel wall was staged. The "essence" of the water was in the next room on a 6 meter high icosahedron, a Platonic symbol of water, put in scene. At a round table, the center was filled with water, the visitors were "above water" talk. The "water element" was made to the visitors in an oversized drop of water experience. The issue of water shortage was addressed in the final room of the exhibition, a cathedral-like long hall.
