Diploma in engineering/architecture MBA. Born in Minden in 1971, he
studied architecture at the University of Bochum from 1992 to 1999; MBA
degree at the University of Duisburg-Essen/Zollverein
School from 2006 to 2008.

In 1999 he worked for Otto Steidle/Peter Schmitz Architects, Cologne. In
2000 he joined ASTOC Architects and Planners, where he has been a CEO
since 2009. He has taught architectural construction and design
at the RWTH Aachen (2000 to 2001), and urban development and planning at
the Fachhochschule Cologne (since 2010).
