Born in the south of Germany, Peter Petz studied geography, empirical cultural sciences, and graduated in architecture from the Institut für Darstellen und Gestalten at the University of Stuttgart in 1993. For fifteen years he worked as a freelance architect, focussing on urbanism and competitions. Since 2003 he has been working from Stuttgart as the project manager of German-Architects.com.
